Rashmika Mandanna admits she was ‘really scared’ before saying yes to ‘Cocktail 2’
She had built her career on intense, emotional roles. Diya was none of that. Rashmika knew the risk, she knew fans might raise eyebrows, and she took the leap anyway.

After their grand wedding in Udaipur, Rashmika and Vijay kept things simple with an intimate reception in Karnataka’s Kodagu region.
The gathering was attended by close friends and family members. The couple walked hand in hand in traditional outfits.
The reception had a warm, home-like vibe rather than a flashy celebrity event. Surrounded by loved ones, the newlyweds appeared relaxed and happy.
The evening became even more memorable when Vijay took the mic and delivered a speech for his wife.
He shared that this was his third visit to the region. The first time, he came with school friends, long before he even knew Rashmika. Interestingly, he later realised that he had stayed in the house of one of her friends during that trip.
Vijay also spoke about how fond he has become of the place. He described Kodagu as beautiful and mentioned that he always thought women from the region were very beautiful, even before he met Rashmika. With a smile, he added that he was happy to be married to one.
After the celebrations, Rashmika shared glimpses from her Coorg visit on Instagram. One photo showed her holding Vijay’s hand and looking at him lovingly. She also posted pictures of her school and family gathering.
In her caption, she revealed that the birthday felt “different” this time. She wrote about returning home after a long time, visiting the temple she grew up going to, and stopping by her school, though she could only see it from outside due to time constraints.
